I started marketing for my husband's dental practice 8 years ago. I did it because I knew how to create a website & I have my masters in education, close enough to marketing right? The site that the professionals had made for him was full of weird, horrible pictures, and long boring explanations of things that only dentist cared about.
Being thrown into the role, I tried to learn all I could. I attending webinars, conferences, courses, downloaded guides, did all I could to learn how to market our practice. I did dental conferences as well as courses that focused on small businesses to be able to look at things from a new perspective.
Eight years later, I would love to pass on what I've learned with other health care professionals because I see you don't have the time or resources to spend on learning everything about marketing. Now you don't have to.
