One of the big reasons I wanted to start this company was because I kept learning about all of these strategies and techniques that seemed helpful but would take HOURS! As a practice owner you don't have hours! No- one does. Time is our most valuable resource and spending it on marketing your company takes time from actually doing your doctor stuff and making money. You know you should be doing this stuff but don't have the time.
This is specifically for you owners. I've seen it in our own dental practice. The dentist is inundated with stuff to do and planning social media is on the back of his mind. Dealing with patients is what we want to be doing. Some of the BEST strategies for dealing with social media posts are the following:

Designate
Owners rarely have the time to post on social media. There is so much on your plate already that this task is best designated to someone else. It's a teachable skill that you can let someone else do. If you could use someone to help teach you and your team how to optimize your social media, send me an email.
Plan
Plan your content ahead of time. Each month I go through the month and look for awareness days or fun social media holidays that fit with who we are. I check for special events going on in the office. I plan in things like the first day of spring or daylight savings time. Then I plan what kinds of images I will need for the month.
Batch Create
Create your content in one or two days. I generally take my plan and set up the photos when my team members have a moment to get their photo taken. This will save you a huge amount of time. I used to balk at this because I worried about the spontaneity of some social media worthy events- like a patient brining is cake-sickles -- this is why stories are amazing. Some of the spontaneous events can be posted to your stories. If it's worthy of being in the feed, I'll just re-schedule something. Bonus if you can use it next month. I don't recommend scheduling too far ahead it can start to feel static.
Create a System
For my posts, I've created a system that makes it so I don't have to make too many decisions. I have a preset in Adobe Lightroom that I use for our office so all of my photos have the same look. I have set of colours and fonts that I use consistently to have a beautiful looking feed. If you have a system of processing your pictures, it takes the guess work out and makes for a consistent brand process. Setting up these systems for offices is what I do best! Give me shout if you'd like some coaching on this.
Schedule
After you've created your content, schedule it! Use a program like Later, Planoly, Tailwind to schedule your content. These apps will allow you to schedule your content so you can set it and forget it. Your content will automatically post and it will take only a few hours each month. Like anything, often setting it up takes some time, but once you do, it's a proven system that most influencers use.
Spend a little more time with your family, go take that vacation, and your sales people - your social accounts and website, can still be working for you.
