You may be thinking I have NO time for self care, Tamara. There is no time between doing my business and then taking care of my business and then doing the marketing, and did you know that Instagram says to post once a day? Also, I have a family and house to take care of! Like how do I have time to go to the spa?

I know, that is what what I would think when someone told me to take a rest. Then I realized that I could do some self care in other ways. I stopped looking at is as pampering and looked at it like, my future self will thank me for it. I often ask myself, will "tomorrow Tamara" thank me for this? Things like taking a moment to create an Instagram Strategy, cleaning off your desk, planning your blog posts for 6 months. These things are self care too. Here is my list of all the things I can think of:
Tidy/Organize your desk
Organize you computer
Make a easily accessible folder with brand info on your desktop
Create an Instagram Strategey
Plan your blog posts for 6 months
Take a deep breath
Ask yourself "What will happen if I don't do this?"
Take a few months off of social media - announce it, your people will think you are so woke.
Hire someone to do a job you've been putting off and hate (like me for your web design, SEO checkup, Instagram Strategy, or Creating Branding)
Remind yourself why you started
Get outside for a few mins, take a walk
Move your body
Get away from a screen for a bit
Think of 10 things you are grateful for
Talk to me about streamlining your social media/blog posting etc.
There! 15 things! Right off the top of my head. 15 is a good number to stop - oh but one more, tell someone I love you! That always makes me fell better. I also like to give my babies snuggles when I'm feeling stressed. They just know how to make me feel better.
People will say you have to post once a day, you have to send out a newsletter, you have to start a you tube channel, you need a podcast. You don't actually. A website yes! Maybe 1 social media channel. I've heard marketing guru's say chose one and do it well. You don't have to go viral and have thousands of followers, unless your business is social media. You aren't going to lose out if you don't blog once a week. There are some things that you can cut back on.
If you're interested, send me a message and we can chat about lessening your load, and streamlining your process.
Lotsa Love
